2. Check the balance in mobile T-money
If you do not use a PC much and use mobile mainly, you can check your T-money balance much more easily by installing the ‘Mobile T-money’ app.
1) After installing ‘Mobile T-Money’, start the app.

2) If you press the three-line menu in the upper left corner, the menu will expand as shown below.
From there, press ‘T-Money Card > Balance Inquiry’.

Mobile T-money uses NFC, a short-range wireless communication, to check the balance.
When you hold the T-money card to the back of the phone, it is recognized and the balance is checked.
Therefore, NFC mode must be turned on on your mobile phone (it doesn’t matter if it’s turned on by default).
For Android phones, it’s in the shortcut menu box with the Wi-Fi menu at the top of the screen.
