How to issue a cook’s license online
If you have a Korean food cooking technician license or a Western food cooking technician license, you can replace it with a chef’s license.
It takes about 2 weeks, so if you need it, prepare in advance!
There are two ways to make it: in-person application and online application.
Looking at reviews on the Internet, it was more difficult and cumbersome to get issued in person than I thought! So, I applied online.

5,500 won for issuance (3,000 won for re-issuance)
Documents to be submitted by the complainant
[When applying for a license]
1) 2 photos (must be 3 cm x 4 cm photo of the upper half of the body with hair loss taken within the last 6 months) 2 copies-
2) Health checkup
A medical certificate from a doctor proving that he or she does not fall under subparagraph 1 of Article 3 of the 「Mental Health Promotion and Welfare Service Support for Persons with Mental Illness」, or a certificate that the mentally ill person is recognized as suitable as a cook by a specialist Medical certificates – Infectious disease patients (excluding hepatitis B patients) according to Article 2, Subparagraph 13 of the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act, and narcotics or other drugs pursuant to Narcotics Control Act, Article 2, Subparagraph 2 A medical certificate from a doctor proving that you are not a drug addict

A national technical license is not required. If the public official in charge agrees to the shared use of administrative information, it is written that the public official in charge can inquire and confirm.
[Preparation for online issuance]
1. Save your ID photo on your computer
2. Scan and save your health certificate
3. Authorized certificate (required for identity verification)
※ When applying online, a cooking technician license is not required.
I received a urine test, a chest X-ray (tuberculosis test), and a health examination called MMPI at the health center on the 5th floor of the rear wing of Andong Seongso Hospital.
When issuing a health checkup, you must say that you have come to get a cook license health checkup. You must inquire at the hospital in advance and ask if the certificate is issued. This is only available at general hospital level hospitals, so please inquire.
And it must be possible with that phrase!
It cost 51,500 won.
The examination takes approximately 2 hours. It takes about 4-5 days from the completion of the examination to issuance of the health certificate.

3) Attach a photo (if it is saved as a file, just attach it)
4) Health certificate attached; Strangely, it is supposed to be attached twice. Please scan your health certificate and upload each one.
5) Select method of receipt; Select online issuance (self-printing)
6) Apply (certify with an official certificate once more)
7) Pay 5,500 won in commission (total 5,720 won)
I paid for my phone, so I didn’t have to install the program.
Just do this and apply.
As mentioned earlier, the official in charge of the technical certification checks directly.
I applied on a Saturday and it was completed on Monday morning.
About 1 week until the health checkup + 3 days to apply for a complaint = It takes about 2 weeks.
And it was printed right away!
I think online is more comfortable if you have time even if you don’t visit in person.
All of the licenses you have acquired are for the occupation.
