⦿ Socar fee application standard time information (based on rental start time)
-Weekdays: Sunday 19:00 ~ Friday 19:00 (late night: 02:00 ~ 06:00)
-Weekend: Friday 19:00 ~ Friday 19:00 (including holidays and our designated peak season)
⦿Special information on the Socar rate plan
-You can rent from a minimum of 30 minutes to 10-minute increments.
-Rental rates may vary depending on the reservation conditions as they operate on a flexible rate system according to conditions such as vehicle type, region/soca zone, day/time, peak season/off-peak season, etc. (It’s best to check through the app.)
-The driving fee is charged according to the actual mileage when returning the vehicle, and a separate mileage fee is applied according to the mileage section.
– Rental rates and driving rates may change according to our internal policy/oil price fluctuations.
-When using additional services such as calling, a separate fee is charged considering the cost of returning the vehicle.
-The extension fee is applied separately from the rental fee.
⦿ Socar service fee
1. Payment before boarding
– Rental fee: This is the rate for renting a car per hour.
– Insurance: You can choose the maximum deductible in case of an accident, and the insurance premium is different accordingly. (See below)
2. Payment upon return
-Driving distance: A driving fee per km is charged according to the distance traveled.
⦿ Socar Insurance
1. Customer burden
-Repair cost: Pay only the amount less than the self-pay according to the insurance premium selected at the time of rental
2. Socar burden
– Personal (unlimited): passenger, pedestrian, driver of the other vehicle, hospital expenses
– Property (up to 100 million won): Damage to other party’s vehicle repair costs, trees/telephone poles, etc.
– Descendants (up to KRW 15 million): Driver’s hospital expenses

How to use Socar
1. Download the Socar app.
-Android: Play Store / iOS: Please download after searching for ‘Socar’ in the App Store.
2. Register your driver’s license and payment card.
-Socar can be used from 21 years of age or older and 1 year or more of driver’s license. Please refer to this.
3. Set the usage time, select the location where the vehicle is needed and the type of vehicle desired.
-You can make a reservation at Socar Zone or call Socar to your door.
4. Check the detailed information of the Soca Zone where the vehicle is parked.
-You can find Socar more easily by turning on the emergency lights or sounding the horn with the smart key in the Socar app.
5. Before boarding, check the condition of the vehicle, such as the exterior, interior, and amount of oil.
-We recommend that you slowly film the entire vehicle.
6. After use, park the vehicle in the designated place.
-After locking the car door, press the return button to complete the use. It is recommended to check that there are no items left behind before returning.
